Description
As part of our year-long celebration of America’s 250th birthday, the Chatham County Historical Association is hosting NC History Between the Lines, a monthly book club that will explore North Carolina’s rich past through engaging non-fiction books. Whether you’re a lifelong history lover or are simply curious about the people and events that shaped our state, we’d love you to join us for conversation and lively discussion.
Our kick-off selection for January is Farming Dissenters: The Regulator Movement in Piedmont North Carolina, by Carole Troxler, the little-known story of how a group of North Carolina farmers helped to set the stage for the American Revolution.
When: Saturday, January 17 at 9:30am
Where: Havoc Brewing Co., 39 West Street, Pittsboro
All are welcome, and admission is free. To register and for more information, visit our website www.chathamhistory.org
